Marine Bio Returns
	Robin, our marine biologist has just returned from a 3 month stint as a Senior Lecturer on an expedition cruise ship in the Indian Ocean. Robin reckons the best part of the job was driving the zodiac.

Our Staff are the Best
	Rick and Rianna, both Instructors on the boat, were finalists in the February Cairns Tourism Employee of the Month. Candidates are nominated by customers around Cairns who fill in a form about a particular staff member who they feel demonstrated an example of superior customer service. Of the five finalists two were Passions staff. A proud moment.

Passions Goes to Florida

Passions has been invited by The Nature Conservancy and the Florida Reef Resilience Program to attend a conference in Key Largo, Florida on quot;Coping with Climate Changequot;. The Australian contingent includes our Managing Director, Alan Wallish, Dr. Paul Marshall from the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and a Senior Ranger from the Capricornia region who has experience with coral bleaching events. It will be a great opportunity for the company to network with Florida based reef operators.

Mustang Goes Modern
	Passions amp;quot;Salesamp;quot; car finally had air conditioning attached. After three years with staff sweltering in the tropical sun, we finally sourced an original 1966 air conditioning unit for our 1966 Mustang. Now when we drive the car down the road, (with the steering on the wrong side), we can actually close the windows when it rains

	April will see the Australian Cable Wakeboarding championships being held in Cairns. Passions is sponsoring the Pro Men category with a major prize. Watch out for the event on Fuel T.V. and enjoy the extreme action. Cairns is home to the current World Number 1 ranked male and Female Wakeboarder.

Cairns Yacht Club Turns 100
	In March, Passions of Paradise joins in the festivities and celebrations for a 100 year anniversary. As sponsor of the Junior sailing program, Passions has a keen interest in all things sailing and will be joining the public to raise a glass of bubbly to celebrate this historic event.
